We are available for in-person Prenatal & Newborn Babywearing 101s again, by appointment only, in Farmington. Contact us to schedule your class!
The cost of a Prenatal & Newborn Babywearing 101 consult is $60 (plus tax) and you will receive a $30 credit which can be used towards the purchase of a baby carrier through our store.
This consult covers:
The information portion of the consult will run about one hour. We will then assist you in trying on different carriers; Normally our 101s run about 2hrs total. In general, Prenatal & Newborn Babywearing 101 is meant to be a primer for people with little or no experience with baby carriers so that they can hear about and see what the options are, first hand, and learn how to safely & comfortably wear their new baby. This consult is perfect for expectant parents to take before their baby arrives! If your baby is already here and you have a carrier or carriers you need help with, our Full Babywearing Consultations or Babywearing Tune-Ups would likely be a better fit for you family. We also offer Baby Carrier Fittings if you'd like a more condensed consult focused primarily on trying on different carriers.

- Demonstration of Five Main Types of Carriers (Ring Sling, Stretchy Wrap, Woven Wrap, Meh Dai/Bei Dai, and Soft Structured/Buckle Carrier)
- Pros and Cons of Different Carrier Types and How to Choose What's Right For You
