Sometimes it's the little things that can make a big difference!  With a handle made of cornstarch and bristles of nylon the Bio Toothbrush by Jack n' Jill offers an alternative to traditional plastic toothbrushes.  The cornstarch handle can actually be composted (typically takes 90 days to break down in a commercial compost)!  When it's time for a new toothbrush, break off the head and then compost the handle if possible.  But any way you dispose of this, you can be sure that these toothbrushes will not be sitting in a landfill for who knows how long! 

Please note: The Jack n' Jill Bio Toothbrush cannot be sterilized in boiling water or in the microwave.
Replace toothbrushes every 8 weeks or earlier, as needed.
